Our last chance to show developers our demands for preservation and conservation. We have lost faith in the state to demand any, so we must show the community will demand preservdation of the historic buildings and conservation of green space.

The next Atlanta Police Citizens Police Academy starts March 15!

Participants will learn about departmental procedures as well as hear about the many units that comprise the Atlanta Police Department, including 911, Internal Affairs, and the Training Academy. Citizens will participate in a zone ride-along and watch a K-9 demonstration. Participation requires a commitment of three hours, one night a week for an eight week period.

The Atlanta Citizens Police Academy includes twenty-plus hours of skilled and professional instruction delivered in three-hour sessions. Future citizen participants require
a one-night per week commitment over an eight-week period: Wednesday evenings 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

• Identity Theft
• Use of Force
• Criminal Procedure
• Active Shooter

Renew Atlanta Dekalb Avenue Public Meeting

Corridor improvements inclusive of milling and repaving, sidewalk and ADA ramp repair and installation, reversible lane removal and addition of bicycle facilities along DeKalb Avenue between MARTA Inman Park-Reynoldstown Station (Hurt Street) and City Limit. A fact sheet for the Dekalb Avenue Corridor Improvements was presented at the Inman Park Neighborhood meeting on February 15, 2017.
