We are looking for volunteers to help with the Edgewood Neighborhood clean up and tire collection on April 25th.
We’re looking for individuals to help with:
- Neighborhood Clean Up
- Tire Round Up
- Volunteering Truck to Transport Tires (2)
- Help with Coordination a few days prior to event

Google Fiber is Coming To Atlanta. Let’s make sure it comes to Edgewood!
The Department of Public Works has begun a pedestrian improvement project along the south side of Memorial Drive, between Moreland Avenue and Wilkinson Drive, and on the north side of Memorial Drive, between East Lake Boulevard to Candler Road. Improvements will include new sidewalks, stamped and colored concrete strips, driveway aprons, ADA ramps, in addition to vehicular signage and roadway strip-ing. This project is scheduled between November 2014 and November 2015, weather permitting.
This project is supported by local and federal funds.
Construction will be located within the public right-of-way between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm weather permitting, unless otherwise indicated.

We are able to hire 14-18 year olds to work at Edgewood Garden, the Coan Middle School Garden, and in the installation of edible landscapes in the neighborhood, for $8/hr for 30 hours a week.
