This will be a packed activity, including two very important votes: 1) Board of Directors slate for next year, and 2) Edgewood Identity logo. You MUST be present in order for your vote to be counted.

Water Main Repair

DWM contractors will install an eight-inch water main at 186 Ericson Street SE beginning Tuesday, November 14. The work may result in temporary lane closures. Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents may also anticipate noise and truck traffic impacts. Construction work will take place Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Work is anticipated to last approximately two weeks.

Water service interruptions will likely only occur near the end of the project when connections are made to the new water main. Notifications will be made prior to shutting the water off to make the connections.

Reminder: Memorial Drive safety meeting TONIGHT

This is a reminder that the first of two meetings for the resurfacing and restriping of Memorial Drive is TONIGHT starting at 6 p.m. at Lang Carson Community Center in Reynoldstown. There will be a short presentation at 6 p.m., followed by an open house with GDOT staff and community volunteers. You don’t need to stay the whole time.

If you are available, we would greatly appreciate your attendance and filling out a comment card. We need to have a strong community voice in support of this project to ensure it is fully executed by GDOT. If you have concerns, we need to hear those, too. Tonight’s meeting and the Nov. 8 meeting have the same information. It is not necessary to attend both.
