Wylde Center is a leader in environmental education and green space development. We are a membership-based non-profit organization that manages five gardens in Decatur and the City of Atlanta. Through onsite garden visits and school-based educational programs, we interact with more than 16,000 students each year. In addition, our gardens are used to host events and outreach efforts designed to build greener and more connected communities.

Edgewood Community Learning Garden is an exciting new adventure every day. On the site of an old apartment building, the garden was rebuilt in 2014/2015 to better meet the needs of the school aged-kids in the community. It has fruit, veggies, compost bins, pollinator plants, a rain garden, a pond, and a treehouse. It is a great mix of all things garden!
